Cranford YMCA Celebrates First Anniversary

The Cranford YMCA is marking a major milestone in February — its first anniversary! From Monday, Feb. 17 to Friday, Feb. 21, members and the community are invited to join in on a week of celebrations, including exciting events, free classes, giveaways, and more.

The Cranford YMCA opened on Feb. 15, 2024, as a partnership between the Westfield Area YMCA and the Township of Cranford. This collaboration transformed the former Cranford Pool and Fitness Center into a fresh, revitalized space for health, wellness, and community. Over the past year, the Cranford YMCA has welcomed individuals and families of all ages, offering state-of-the-art fitness facilities, group & individual swim lessons, water exercise, and community events that promote healthy living.

To celebrate its first year, the Cranford YMCA will host a variety of special activities throughout the week, including demo swim classes, free stroke evaluations, complimentary fitness clinics, family-friendly events, and giveaways. For a full schedule of anniversary events and details, visit
