Hoops Thriller Ends in Four Overtimes

In a thrilling encounter on January 11, 2025, the Chatham High School girls’ basketball team edged out Westfield High School with a 61-55 victory in a marathon four-overtime game. This win marked Chatham’s 11th consecutive victory, maintaining their unbeaten streak for the season.

The game was a testament to endurance and skill, with both teams displaying remarkable tenacity.

Chatham’s forward, Grace Kreuzer, delivered an outstanding performance, leading all scorers with 27 points.

Guard Grace Cloud also made pivotal contributions, including a crucial three-pointer in the fourth overtime that helped secure the win.

Westfield demonstrated resilience throughout the game, pushing the contest into multiple overtimes and challenging Chatham at every turn.

Leading the effort for Westfield: #15 Megan Logan scored 15 Points, Catie Carayannopoulos pulled in 15 Rebounds and Sophie Lane had 4 Steals.
