Where/why did you get your pet?
We saw her picture at 3 Hearts 4 Paws Rescue and fell in love. Legend has it Honey was tied to a chair in Mexico when they found her.
Anything special or unusual about your pet?
Noah taught Honey how to go on our trampoline. Now, she hops up with us whenever we use it and wants to get in on the fun! Also, we like to think that Honey has a “husband” named Snickers, our neighbor’s dog. Surprisingly, despite her sweet name, Honey is more of the alpha in the relationship.
Any funny stories?
Honey loves to hunt Squirrels and Birds in the backyard. She has not caught one to date but she doesn’t let that get her down!
What do you like best about your pet?
Honey is a tennis ball-chasing champion but she doesn’t let that go to her head. Also, whenever we come home, she demands attention with her patented combination bark howl.
How has the pet enriched your life?
At any given moment of the day, there are at least 2-3 hands petting Honey because we find that she’s just so affectionate and soft. Between dog walks and family petting sessions, she really brings us together.
