Where/why did you get your pet? 

Quincy was born in Colorado but we were so lucky she moved to NJ for us! We lost our beloved first dog, a yellow lab named Lucy, about 3 years before Quincy came into our lives. We all missed Lucy so much and knew we could not last any longer without another dog in our house.

Anything special or unusual about your pet?

Quincy has rarely met a person that she hasn’t liked. And there are very few people out there who have met Quincy and not immediately fallen in love with her. She just has that friendly and loving quality that we could have only wished for in a dog and we were lucky enough to get her.

 Any funny stories?

When she was a puppy there was a day when we couldn’t find her. We thought she was upstairs with us but she was nowhere to be found. I went downstairs to look for her but it was very quiet. I walked into the kitchen and there she was, sitting on top of the kitchen table! She looked so proud of herself!

What do you like best about your pet?

The best thing about Quincy is the love she gives. She is always there, by your side, ready to snuggle or just cheer you up if you need it.

How has the pet enriched your life?

There is no aspect of our lives that Quincy has not enriched! We bring her with us everywhere she’s allowed to go. She loves taking walks in all of the local parks and downtown, visiting friends in LBI, and sleepovers at her grandma’s house.  She especially loves cheering on our daughter’s softball team and has become their unofficial mascot.
