Celebrating the Opening of the Cranford YMCA
Westfield Area YMCA and Township of Cranford leaders, local partners, and community members gather for the ribbon cutting in front of the Cranford YMCA facility on April 23.
This spring, representatives from the Township of Cranford, Westfield Area YMCA Staff & Board Members, the Cranford Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and other community partners came together for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Cranford YMCA.
The gathering marked the completion of major renovations to transform the former Cranford Pool and Fitness Center into the Cranford YMCA, a vibrant hub for wellness and community engagement.The newly renovated facility includes a comprehensive fitness center with brand new strength, cardio, and free weight equipment, improvements to the indoor pool’s filtration, chemical feed, and UV systems, and renovated main locker rooms, with new flooring and fresh paint throughout the facility.
The Cranford YMCA provides a wide range of programs and activities for all ages, including aquatic programs such as swim lessons, adult water exercise, diving classes, and family and lap swim time. In addition, the Y offers creative arts & enrichment programs, personal training, chair yoga, and fitness clinics.
