How long have you lived in Cranford and what brought you to town?

We moved to Cranford in 2019 from Brooklyn. We were looking for a place in New Jersey that was a mix between the convenience of Brooklyn and the suburbs. My aunt lives in town which is how I heard of the area. We went to River & Rail and liked the downtown vibe and decided to rent here and ultimately buy a home.

What are your favorite family activities?

We love to go to the parks in town and take part in the downtown events. My daughter really loved the Spring Hop this year as well as taking part in the trick or treat event.

What’s your favorite restaurant and/or place to shop?

There are too many to choose from. Thirsty Turtle is my daughters favorite place to go, big fan of their Mac & cheese. Garlic Rose is delicious! Il Gabbiano for Italian. Mizu and Mr Bin for sushi. East Wok for Chinese. Of course Track 5 for my coffee fix. To shop I like Max & Luna and Anthem.

What was the best advice on motherhood that you ever received?

That we are only human, to give ourselves grace, and as long as we give our all for the day that we can give, we are succeeding.
