The City of Summit and the Summit Environmental Commission would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who volunteered at the annual Earth Day clean-up on Saturday, April 13. 242 residents and members of different community groups and clubs came together to help clean up 10 public sites around the city. Volunteers collected approximately 1,200 pounds of trash and applied 10 yards of wood chips to the trails at Martin’s Brook Park and Wilson Park.
