Unveils a Summit Garden Tour in Commemoration
of Its 50th Anniversary!
Garden enthusiasts and nature lovers are invited to embark on a picturesque journey through the heart of Summit, New Jersey at the upcoming Summit Garden Tour on Thursday, May 30 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Organized by Reeves-Reed Arboretum in partnership with The Summit Garden Club, this springtime tour is being held in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Reeves-Reed Arboretum as a non-profit public arboretum.
The tour will feature a captivating ensemble of eight unique gardens, offering a blend of private and public landscapes brimming with seasonal delights. Ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to explore five hidden gems tucked away in private residences, gaining insights into the creative vision and horticultural expertise of local gardening enthusiasts as well as award-winning designers. In addition, gardens of three local architecturally historic landmarks including Reeves-Reed Arboretum will round out the tour.
Included in the ticket price, attendees will also have the chance to indulge in springtime refreshments from the Secret Tea Room while visiting the gardens at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. A Pop-Up Garden Shop will also be onsite featuring an array of garden-inspired treasures, artisanal wares, and floral bouquets for sale to commemorate the experience and inspire future gardening endeavors.
