Where/why did you get your pet?

We got Tex as a gift for the kids after we moved to Cranford. He was 8 weeks old and so cute.

Anything special or unusual about your pet?

Tex is a huge water dog. At the shore, he will go on the paddleboards and in the rowboat. But he does not like baths for some reason. He also can control a ball like he’s playing soccer. He can move it around the backyard keeping it close to his body.

Any funny stories?

He’s a little too curious about things. One summer while we were crabbing down the shore, one of the crabs escaped. Tex decided to go after it and of course, the crab latched to his face. Tex then took off running with the crab still attached.

What do you like best about your pet?

He’s the best snuggler ever. He’s also the most social. He gets a ton of attention everywhere I bring him and soaks it all up. I think a lot of people know Tex!

How has the pet enriched your life?

He has the best personality. He smiles at us when we come home. He’s the most loyal and loving dog. He has brought us so much joy and love in our lives.
