Celebrating Youth Art Month

Works of art by Westfield Public Schools students in grades K-12 are displayed at the Center for Creativity at the Rialto, the Westfield Memorial Library, and the preview center at One Westfield Place.

The Westfield Public School District celebrated Youth Art Month in March, with colorful and creative displays at the Center for Creativity at the Rialto, the Westfield Memorial Library, and the preview center at One Westfield Place.  The community enjoyed paintings, drawings, and sculpture designed by more than 180 students from kindergarten to twelfth grade.

Members of the Westfield High School Band and Orchestra performed at the Roig Collection during an opening reception on March 5 to kick off Music In Our Schools Month and Youth Art Month.

The district kicked off both Youth Art Month and Music In Our Schools Month with an opening reception on March 5 at the Roig Collection in Westfield. The works of Westfield High School 11th grader Sophia Basaldua and 12th grader Danielle Might were featured in the gallery, while members of the WHS Band and Orchestra performed during the reception.
