What is Cupid’s Chase 5K?

Founded in February 1989 by CEO Robert Stack, Community Options is a national non-profit organization with a vision to develop housing and employment opportunities throughout New Jersey. One of the ways they manifest this vision is through the annual Cupid’s Chase 5k mile race, aimed at raising awareness, compassion, and love for individuals with disabilities. Hosted by Community Options, this race takes place simultaneously in 46 cities across 11 states, uniting communities on the same day for a shared cause.

Tell us about your 5K
at Tamaques Park!

For the second consecutive year, Community Options Union County had the pleasure of hosting the 5k Cupid’s Chase Race in Tamaques Park. This year, 150 dedicated runners gathered to celebrate the run and raise awareness for the mission that holds a special place in the hearts of the staff and the individuals served by Community Options.

How can the community help?

The Westfield community and surrounding areas can contribute ongoing support to Community Options by providing volunteer services and participating in the Community Options Business Advisory Council. Westfield (Union Regions) welcomes new members, fostering diverse ideas to enhance the services provided throughout the State of New Jersey.

Anything else
we missed?

I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has continued to participate in the Westfield 5k mile race held in Tamaques Park. Please help us spread the word to your friends and family about the housing and employment opportunities that Community Options provides for individuals with disabilities. Your support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
