Meet Mabel
This soulful-eyed little girl is Mabel. She was rescued from a southern New Jersey shelter and has blossomed into the sweetest little girl. Mabel loves all the pets and enjoys cuddling in her bed or yours, whichever is closer. She would do great in a home either by herself or with another low-key dog. She is great on a leash, loves walks, and enjoys yard time. Mabel can be a little shy upon first meeting and does not do well with lots of commotion, so she needs to be adopted into a home with kids over 16 or adults only. Mabel loves treats and her favorite fresh pet food topper. She is definitely ready for her forever home!
Meet Finley
This amazingly sweet, gentle, and loving boy is Finley. He was rescued off the streets of Newark after being abandoned by his previous owner. When found, he was in rough shape and freezing on the streets. Now, this handsome two-year-old boy is living the good life in his foster home.
Finley did test positive for FIV but is currently thriving in the company of multiple other cats and a small dog, whom he likes very much! He would do great in a home with a low-key adult cat or a non-invasive kitten or small dog. Despite his size, he doesn’t shy away from confrontation. His idea of a good time is playing with toys and sitting on his foster mom’s lap, soaking up all the pets. Be prepared, as he might take over your lap whether you like it or not! Finley has a very loud purr and is incredibly appreciative of being indoors. He is neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV, and is microchipped.
Meet Stella
This stunning girl is 11-month-old Stella. She was surrendered to a local kill shelter by the family that bred her parents after they could no longer care for all the puppies. Despite her challenging start, she is literally the best dog. Stella is sweet, funny, charismatic, and energetic. She loves every human and dog she meets. Currently enrolled in doggie daycare, Stella is doing absolutely amazing! She adores playtime and would thrive in a home with another young, playful, and energetic dog.
Stella is crate-trained and completely housebroken. She would do best in a home with a very active family that has the time to enroll her in puppy training classes. Some basic manners training and puppy socialization skills would benefit her. If you are lucky enough to spend time with Stella, you will instantly fall in love.
Meet Rosie
Meet Rosie, a beautiful 2-year-old female Shepherd mix with the most amazing smile and adorable ears. She is a big girl, weighing 70 lbs, and is fully vetted and microchipped.
Resilience defines Rosie’s story; she was abandoned on the rooftop of a building in Paterson. Despite her challenging past, she remains a testament to the unwavering spirit of love and hope. Rosie has overcome hardships with grace, and her eyes sparkle with gratitude for a second chance at a loving home.
Rosie isn’t just well-behaved; she’s a model of canine etiquette. She’s mastered the art of crate training and housebreaking, ensuring a smooth transition into her forever home. Taking leisurely walks with Rosie is a joy; she gracefully follows your lead, making her the perfect companion on a leash.
While Rosie is tolerant of other dogs, her true happiness shines when she’s the center of attention. Thriving as an only pet, Rosie relishes undivided attention and is ready to reciprocate with endless affection. She’s not just a pet; she’s a loyal friend who longs to be an integral part of a loving family. A home with Shepherd experience is preferred.
Meet Envy
This little peanut is Envy, and she’s approximately 6 months old. Found at just 5 weeks old, she was discovered stuffed in a mailbox in Elizabeth. Thanks to a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook, we were able to rescue her with a net. Initially a bit feisty, Envy was simply scared. Covered in fleas and in desperate need of a bath and some tender loving care, she found solace in a foster home.
In her foster home, Envy has transformed into the sweetest and most cuddly little girl. She adores the resident cat and the kids in the home. Whether running around and playing or sunning herself on the porch, Envy is a joy to be around. She would make a wonderful addition to any home. Envy is spayed, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped.
