Westfield Student Musicians to Perform with State and Regional Ensembles
Sixteen Westfield Public Schools student musicians will perform with Region II intermediate school ensembles in March including the following students from Edison Intermediate School (L-R): Arboria Abrams, Olivia Alvaro, Serena Shih, Arianna Desai, Ethan Co, Alejandro Phillips Vazquez, Ajay Bastianpillai, Lilia Duval, Andrew Song, Emma Wang, and Arav Sheth.
Three Westfield High School student musicians performed recently with the All-State Band, while 16 intermediate students were accepted into Region II ensembles.
Twelfth graders Nolan Daly (Trumpet), Charlie Hu (Oboe), and Sarah Lincoln (Contrabass Clarinet) performed with the New Jersey Music Educators Association (NJMEA) All-State Band on February 23 in Atlantic City, followed by a performance on February 24 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.
