Where/Why did you get your pet?

We adopted Pickles from the ASPCA shelter about 8 years ago in NYC, after our old cat had passed away, and she was just what we needed in our lives. She was about 2 years old when we took her home, and she has lived with us ever since.

Anything special or unusual about your pet?

Pickles, who for the first year of us having her, was the normal size of a cat, over time, if she felt that she did not get enough food, she would follow you around the house meowing. Now she has gotten bigger, (and cuter) because of it.

Any funny stories?

When we adopted our dog, Lucky, 2 years ago, we thought that he would intimidate her, but we were so wrong! He is scared of Pickles, and she is the alpha of the house! Whenever she comes into a room, she is the boss.

What do you like best about your pet?

Pickles is an amazing cat to have! Whenever you feel sad, it’s almost like she can sense it! She loves to cuddle and loves attention. She is also friendly to everyone she meets!

How has the pet enriched your life?

When Pickles came into our lives, she was devoted to us, and continues to care for us every day! My family could not love Pickles more, and she is always there to cuddle and love you every second of the day!
