HOLY TRINITY STARTS 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR WITH NEW TECH AND A NEW PRINCIPAL

After another successful school year with reaccreditation for Middle States, academic honors, sports awards, and a graduating class earning $700,000 in academic scholarships, Holy Trinity School is ready for the 2023-2024 School Year with more tools to continue student achievement.

Outgoing Principal, Dr. Adele Ellis, continued to enhance the rigorous curriculum with additional hardware and software for the classrooms. “We will have new Samsung Smartboards that are touch screen and wireless in every classroom as well as our resource rooms,” stated Ellis. “Teachers will also have document cameras and IXL for all subject areas to assist in individualizing instruction for all types of learners’, she added.

As Ellis moves on to become the Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of Newark, where her main responsibilities will be to supervise elementary schools in Hudson and Bergen counties and focus on Operational Sustainability for all schools in the Archdiocese, Holy Trinity School welcomes their new Principal, Mr. Michael Petrillo.

Mr. Petrillo, a resident of East Hanover, comes to Holy Trinity School from his last position as Principal of St. Thomas the Apostle School in Bloomfield. Mr. Petrillo held that position for the last six years and was a teacher in the school prior to taking on the leadership role. “I am excited to be a part of the Holy Trinity School team”, stated Petrillo in a message to the staff. “I know that Mr. Petrillo will continue the success of the school community and they will welcome him with open arms”, adds Ellis.
