Can you provide a bit of history about your organization?
Spanish club is a long-standing organization that brings students together to enjoy unique Hispanic cultures around the world. Club members are also eligible for academic recognition by invitation to join the Spanish National Honor Society as juniors and seniors.

How long have you been with this organization?
I joined the Spanish Club as a freshman because I heard it was one of the largest clubs at school with 200+ members!

What drew you to be part of this group?
Over the years, I’ve loved learning about Hispanic cultures surrounded by a community of students who strive to promote cultural appreciation of Spanish speaking countries across the globe.
What types of tasks do you perform?
We organize monthly meetings. Activities include movie nights, holiday dinners, listening to music, sampling Hispanic foods and more. We also fundraise for charitable causes (this year our proceeds went to World Central Kitchen) and scholarships.

How can the community help your efforts?
Support our fundraisers at local restaurants and encourage students to join the club!

How can someone get involved or join?
This year our Google Classroom code is kzuqfdx. Keep an eye out for our table at Club Day in September (we’ll be by the large Spanish flag) or reach out to Sra. Calimano (room 261) and Sra. Underwood, our advisors.
