Where/why did you get your pet?

I grew up with dogs and have always wanted a dog as part of our family. We had been actively looking for a dog for years. A good friend fosters for Hounds in Pounds Rescue and she helped us find our forever dog through them.

Anything special or unusual about your pet?       

Nope. He’s just super cute.

Any funny stories?

We knew we wanted a dog for years and maintained patience while searching. The rescue sent a video of him during his fostering in GA and all you could hear and see was incessant barking. While most would probably say no to a dog like that, we all looked at each other and said “that’s our dog”. He turned out to be a very quiet dog, except when he hears a doorbell.

What do you like best about your pet?

He’s very sweet and just wants to be close to his people. He hasn’t met a human yet that he doesn’t like and he’s just a happy pup!

How has the pet enriched your life?

He’s added so much joy to our family and lives. He taught my children how to be responsible for another living being and has shown us so much unconditional love. We forget what life was like before having him and we can’t imagine life without him.
