Where/why did you get your pet?

We both grew up with dogs and have always wanted one of our own when the timing was right. Nicole fell in love with Corgis, their goofy personalities and adorable fluffy butts. We were so happy to get Minion from Ohio and she flew to NYC to meet us!

Is there a story behind your pet’s name?

Nicole came up with the name Minion and there was no negotiation on what her name would be. Nicole loves the Despicable Me movies and always wanted to name her Corgi after a Minion. The minion characters are silly and mischievous, just like our dog!

Anything special or unusual about your pet? Any funny stories?

Minion spent her first year living in New York City and loving the city life. She went everywhere with us, traveled in a backpack on the subway and had her own space at the office. Minion loves to meet other people and makes them smile with her goofy personality. While in the city, Minion was in a commercial and even ended up in The New York Post! She loves continuing her adventures in Cranford, playing bubbles in her backyard, exploring all the dog friendly places and frequenting Nomahegan Park.

What do you like best about your pet? 

We love how much Minion loves us and loves her new little brother. She is always willing to give kisses and cuddle wherever we are. She is up for an adventure and trying new things and happy to meet other people.

How spoiled is your pet? Give us an example.

Minion is very very loved and spoiled. She sleeps in our bed with us at night, has lots of toys, too many treats, shares human food with her Dad and gets lots of love. We even took a birthday trip for her to the beach, since she loves to dig in the sand!

How has the pet enriched your life? 

Having Minion in our life has brought so much joy, fun and love! She truly has enriched our lives for the better. Minion knows when we’re up for some fun or if we need an extra cuddle. We also love seeing her interact with  her new little brother and how much love she has for the baby.
