May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Since 1949, May has been designated as Mental Health Awareness Month. It’s impossible to talk about health and wellness without mentioning mental health. Nearly one in every five adults in the United States suffers from a mental illness or a mental health condition. That equates to nearly 52 million people.
