The College Woman’s Club of Westfield Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients

The 2024 CWC Scholarship recipients are (l. to r.) Caroline Morrelli, Shannon Gibbs, Erin Doherty, Caitlin Cabrales, Chloe Wiedman, Altai Abrams, Hannah Gerstel and Skyler Schaible.  The College Woman’s Club of Westfield awarded $58,000 in scholarships at its annual meeting on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Echo Lake Country Club.  The awards were presented to eight young women from Westfield to help them pursue their higher education.  The recipients were selected based on academic achievement, leadership, and financial need. Summit, NJ – The Fortnightly Club of Summit announced the recipients of their 2024 scholarships: Chelsea Asitimbay, Keilah Torillo and Diane Saint-Louis.  Each year, scholarships are awarded to deserving young Summit women to help them pay for college. Newly Trained Volunteers Take Oath as Court Appointed Special Advocates in Union County

Six community volunteers will be sworn in as Court Appointed Special Advocates – known as CASA volunteers – to serve vulnerable Union County children living in foster care through no fault of their own.
